She began her legal career at O'Melveny & Myers, where she represented clients in complex commercial and employment litigation while developing a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy, discovery, and dispute resolution. During that time, she also built an active pro bono immigration practice representing asylum seekers and vulnerable immigrants, earning the firm's Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award.
Brandie later joined World Vision as in-house counsel, advising one of the world's largest humanitarian organizations on employment law, litigation, governance, compliance, and global mobility. Supporting an organization with approximately 40,000 employees operating across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa gave her firsthand experience helping leaders navigate workforce issues across multiple legal systems and cultures.
Most recently, Brandie served as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Defense, evaluating claims involving the United States Navy, negotiating settlements, advising leadership, and helping improve legal operations through technology and process improvements. That experience strengthened her practical, disciplined approach to evaluating risk and resolving disputes efficiently.
