She counseled leadership on workplace investigations, Title IX, HIPAA, FERPA, ADA, privacy, professional licensing, litigation management, commercial agreements, academic integrity, healthcare affiliations, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Working alongside executive leadership reinforced her belief that the best legal advice supports operational decision-making as much as legal compliance.
Earlier in her career, Alexandra served as Deputy General Counsel for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where she advised state leadership on emergency preparedness, public health initiatives, employment law, ethics, administrative enforcement, licensing, and regulatory development. That experience gave her an invaluable understanding of how regulators interpret statutes, conduct investigations, and approach enforcement, allowing her to help clients anticipate issues before they become problems.
Alexandra also advised municipalities throughout Massachusetts on labor and employment, public records, ethics, boards of health, and governance matters before joining Unified CLO. Combined with her judicial clerkship at the Rhode Island Supreme Court, her career has given her experience with legal issues at every stage, from policy development and regulatory interpretation to investigations, litigation, and appellate review.
